UNITED CHRISTIAN ACADEMY TIP-OFF TOURNAMENT: 71
Fresta Valley lost in the second round of the United Tip-off Tournament to Temple Christian School from Madison Heights, VA. FVCS was down by more than 20 pts at halftime, but staged a furious 2nd half comeback to take the game to overtime. Foul trouble and injuries proved to be too much in the final period and Temple pulled away with an 8 pt victory. Brett Sumrall led the Pioneers with 29 pts and Dominic Powers chipped in 15 pts along with stellar defense and rebounding.
