What looked like to be a swim meet, the Lady Pioneers overcame a soaked field and scored three goals in the first half. The team was led by senior, Jen Knoebel, who finished with three goals after putting two in the first 40 minutes. The first goal came at the 10th minute, on a broken play. A misplayed ball led to awhat would appear to be a disadvantage for the Fresta Valley Offense. The ball was played up to a 1 on 2, but with the ball at Knoebel's feet, the goal came in moments. As she continued to burn the opponents defense, she began setting up her teammates for success. Both Macy Houston and Kate Phillips had phenomenal games, keeping control of the ball and possessing it for over 75 minutes of the game. Midfield sensation, Jessie Fortunato brought another excellent game, taking control of the offense once Knoebel was double-teamed in the second half. The team will look to finish their regular season on a high note as they host Fairfax Homeschool this Friday at 5:00 pm
